On your web browser (internet explorer, anyway) at the top of the page you will see the word Tools. Click on that. Then click Internet Options from the menu that drops down. Right in the middle you will see Delete Cookies. While you are in there, next to it you will see delete temporary internet files. You should delete those too. These are all the files for every site you ever visited, and there are probably half a million clogging up your system, so get rid of those regularly...read on. (it will take a minute or two, depending on when you last (never?) did this)
While you are at it, go to the bottom and change the number of days to keep files in memory to 2.
Now go to the Advanced tab and go all the way down to Security. Put a check in the box that says something like Delete all temporary files folder when browser is closed. CLICK APPLY! Then all those junk files will disappear everytime you shut your browser down or reboot or whatever.

Edit: You can also get to cookies from C:\Documents and Settings"inputusernamehere"
Cookies will be in a folder it's not a hidden folder so don't worry about that. Double click on it and delete everything inside there. And as for history and temporary internet files it's not as bad as you might think. But I agree occassional cleanouts are good.
Information about deleting cookies on a computer can be found online at a number of computer websites. These websites, such as About Cookies or All About Cookies, specialize in the subject.
They are stored in the program itself so you can only delete them through Firefox.
Under tools in your internet browser, select internet options. There you'll find a section regarding browsing history. There is a Delete button where you can select what to delete including cookies.
A cookie is not a virus. A cookie is just a file, usually text, that browsers use to store information on your computer. A good use for cookies is staying logged into sites. Once you enter your password, the site creates a cookie on your computer. All you have to do to get rid of unwanted cookies is to find them and physically delete them. In IE, you can simply open the folder that contains them and delete them. In other browsers, you can find the cookies through the settings and delete the ones you don't want. Or, if you prefer, you could get a program like Ccleaner to remove them for you. Also, any spyware removal program will remove the more malicious cookies. What makes them malicious is not their contents, but how they are being used by websites.
Sometimes people can attach these cookies to other cookies that get downloaded to your computer everytime you go on certain websites but if you do not want these cookies on your computer use the following program to delete all of your cookies. open a blank notepad and type the following (without the extra space that is automaticly put in by wiki.): @ECHO OFF ECHO. ECHO This is a batch file ECHO. PAUSE CLS EXIT Then save the file as cookiekill.bat to all files Exit the note pad then find the program and open it and it should delete all of your cookies. In internet explorer, hit "Tools" then "Internet Options." Internet Explorer 6 and older: Hit "Delete cookies..." and confirm the deletion by pressing "Yes." Internet Explorer 7 and higher: Hit "Delete..." then hit "Delete cookies..." and confirm by pressing "Yes." (You may not need to confirm.) You may also search for the directory in which your cookie files are placed in, and manually manipulate, create, and delete cookies there; a good way to find your cookie folder is to use your file management software (such as Windows Explorer) and search for a directory similar to "cookies." You should not need any professional software to delete cookies if you are using a normal version of Windows (Or Mac) and Internet Explorer; at that, professional software probably wouldn't work otherwise. There is a link for more information about cookies in the related links of this question.
surf the web,play games,chat online,and find information.
Find where the cookies from web surfing are located on your computer, delete them and then empty your trash bin. Also, your browser might have settings that allow you to remove all cookies. This would be located under the tools tab.
Find the torrent on your computer. Then delete it.
Tools=> Internet options => Settings => veiw files
If you get a virus in your computer, you should take the computer to some place like Geek Squad (located within Best Buy) or to a Mac Genius (if you own a Mac) in order to get help removing the virus. If you still have a different computer that works, you can find information online about how to remove specific viruses.
No. Once you delete it you cannot find it. It's like on your computer. You can't find it once it's deleted.
In the Recycle Bin... Unless you delete the files on the bin, Of course, its Permanently deleted.. You can never find it again... But if you just delete it, (that means you dont delete it in the recycle bin) You can find it there... GET it?
